Let's be honest, this place isn't very active. An OCT entry here, another OCT entry there, a third OCT ent-yeah you get the idea.
And they suck. All of them. Grammar errors, spelling errors, things I could have fixed with a quick cursory glance. Compared to my previous writing this stuff is awful, and I know why. It's because I haven't written anything serious since last year. Can't even blame school for this, or games, or anything else because it was my lazy ass not committing the time to honing the skill. And, just like any skill, if it's not used then it degrades.
So I aim to change that. Every day I will write at least 2,000 words, possibly more depending on how into it I am that day. Nothing is going to make sense at first, I might jump from story to story with no lead-in or background. They're not intended to be read with a critical eye because this is just me working out the kinks and putting it up on dA so other people will know if I fail to uphold this promise.
However, I expect to have latched onto a single story within a month, and from there I can begin honing again. I'll still participate in OCT's, but they won't count towards the 2,000 daily words, just so I'm not using that as an excuse. I still intend to audition for Project Hades though, so look for that.
I'll finish by saying this page is about to get a lot more active on my end. Hope you enjoy it.

Monthly WIP: March Part 3
Editing complete. Chopped off a good four pages from the outline and tightened up the rest. Switched a bunch of things around in the process. Going to do some character sheets so I can keep track of the cast. Writing will probably be put on hold for a few days, so I can deal with this final for class, and I'll be getting started on Tuesday because I can't wait until April.
Working Title: Genesis Machine (this will be getting changed)
Genre: MG Fantasy
Summary: When a young boy goes to sleep on the eve of his tenth birthday and signs a contract within the strangest dream he's ever had, he has no idea of what's to come. He begins to dream of
Monthly WIP: March Part 2
And that's it. For the first time in my life I've finally done it. I have successfully created an outline of a novel that spans from beginning to end. I know everything that needs to go into the story and all the characters in it. However I'm still not done. I'll take a few days, maybe a week, away from the outline and come back to it with fresh eyes ready for editing. Only then will I commence actually writing the novel.
Still excited though. With a solid outline to go off of my novel comes one step closer to completion. I'll likely start writing it in April to go along with Camp Wrimo, which will further spur me onwards to 50K words by the

Golden Wings is being put on hold as I work on a WIP that's technically not new, but I finally figured out how to make it workable for a novel. I have the backstory completed, the first novel 1/3 plotted, the overall story in mind, and am currently writing out all the different characters along with the rules they follow. WikidPad is making this incredibly simple. I think I'll have the whole thing outlined by the end of the week.
I'm really excited about this one because it's been the one WIP I've come back to now and again to tinker with it in an attempt to get it going. Now I think this can be the one. To give an idea of how long this has

So I decided that I have too many ideas for books, an ADD tendency to hare off on a new idea because it's shiny, and no completed novels despite writing for a number of years. Obviously this needs to change, so I'm forcing myself to select one idea and play with it for a month. Outline, write a few chapters, get some characters down, whatever. Any new ideas are jotted down in a Notepad file and put in their own subfolder. Then I go back to work on the first idea. The goal is to determine whether the idea is viable enough to be made into a full-fledged story. If the answer is yes then I have the skeleton of a novel to flesh out with plenty of
